How to Add Me as an Admin to Your Facebook Business Page (Desktop Only)

To connect your Facebook Business Page with tools like CloudCampaign—or to help my team apply branding updates such as your logo, icons, or header image—you’ll need to grant me admin access through your Facebook settings. This step-by-step guide (with screenshots!) walks you through the process from a desktop computer only.


✅ Step 1: Friend Me from Your Personal Facebook Account

Click your profile icon (upper-right corner of Facebook) to confirm you’re using your personal account. Most clients will see their headshot next to their name when on their personal account and their business logo when using the business account.

Caption: Make sure you’re in your personal account (not your business profile) before sending the friend request.


✅ Step 2: Switch to Your Business Profile

Once we’re connected, switch to your business profile and go to:

✅ Step 3: Click “Add New”

Near the top-right of the screen, click the blue Add New link.

You’ll get a popup explaining Facebook access. Just click Next.

✅ Step 4: Search My Name

Type in Tara Dawn Meeker and select my profile from the dropdown.

Caption: Start typing my name to find my profile. Select the one that shows North Star Design Studio.

✅ Step 5: Allow Full Control

Toggle “Allow this person to have full control” and then click Give Access.
You may be prompted to re-enter your Facebook password.

Caption: Grant full control so we can connect SM software and manage branding tasks.

✅ Step 6: You’re Done!

You’ll now see me listed under “People with Facebook access.” That means everything’s ready to go!

💡 Pro Tip: Admin Access Is a Best Practice

Whenever possible, add someone as an admin—don’t share your main account login. Assigning user access keeps your business more secure and gives you the flexibility to remove or adjust access at any time.
